Ada’s paper creatures
Ada’s drawing is blossoming and I love being amazed by it. She is also enamored of paper dolls . . . which is to say that she likes to have me draw people, fairies, animals, and props to her specifications, and then she has me cut it out and she plays with them in intricate games of imagination.
The best ones are the ones that she draws herself. Here are some: the colorful one is a fairy she drew, holding a flower wand (because it is a flower fairy), the other two are a mother and baby bird that I cut out on the outlines she drew, and the collage item is a Marigold that Ada picked this morning (we’re in Florida, as Robby reminds me) then had me tape on wings, arms, and a head.
